Removing Mionet Registration prompt

I set up my Western Digital My book world edition without using the Mionet software.

Every time I reboot, the registration window for Mionet appears.  Its annoying.  I've looked through my hijack this log, and various other places that may call up this little application, but I can not find it.

Free registration is required if you installed Mionet software.  Is it in the add/remove programs?  You should be able to uninstall it and still use the external hard drive.  Good luck, Rob.

Autoruns for Windows
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Scan, and go to File>Save, and save it as a .arn file. Please rename it to .txt, and attach it here so we can review if needed.....

Or start with start>run>msconfig>startup and service tab....

Okay..  you would think that I would have saw the Mionet application in the add/remove list before... but I had not.... too many other microsoft items clouding the M category.

The Autoruns ia a great tool, thanks for pointing that out.  I searched, found it, deleted it, rebooted and it was gone.   Then I also uninstalled the app.

Bother suggestions would work!

Thanks for the quick response

Your welcome, have a great day.  Autoruns is a great program (good suggestion) and I use it almost daily, just thought it best to keep this one simple. :-)
