Routing on ISA Server 2006

Hi I got a huge problem with routing on my ISA Server 2006. I got it working when I do a ping or normal tracert, see example 1. But when I try to "simulate" web traffic is ignores the route and just go out on the external network. WHY?

C:\Documents and Settings\lla>tracert
Rute spores til over et maksimum af 30 hop
  1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms []
  2 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms
  3 10 ms 12 ms 11 ms
Sporing fuldført.
C:\Documents and Settings\lla>tracert 80
Rute spores til over et maksimum af 30 hop
  1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms []
  2 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms [123.456.789.123]
3 [111.321.123.213] rapporter: Modtagernet ikke tilgængeligt.
Sporing fuldført.

I'm not sure the test you're using is valid.  TRACERT only does ICMP traffic, so the "80" value you've put at the end does not simulate web traffic.

To determine if a TCP listener is repsonding, I typically use "telnet x.x.x.x port"

ie:  telnet 80

Can you explain the problem you're encountering?  Typically, routing doesn't have to be adjusted in a basic ISA implementation.

Yes you are correct, the tracert test is not valid. Thanks for the tip.
