How to auto refresh a aspx page that failed to load

I have a couple reports on aspx pages showing on a wallboard. The pages are set to auto refresh every minute. The issue I am trying to work around is that during the evening when the database shuts down for maintenance the page fails because the SQL query can't pull the info. I'm looking for recommendations that either:
1. Schedule the page on starting or stopping it's refresh
2. Continue to attempt a refresh

Details: aspx page with six gridviews on it. a master page defining a column style for the ContentPlaceHolders and the meta tag to auto refresh. A linux os wyse terminal attached to a 46" lcd tv displaying the page.

you could use :
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(miliseconds numbers)
to add a delay between retry
and

Page.Request.Url.OriginalString()
to get the original request
