When running a backup job in a RAC environment where trying to archive the files after they have been successfully backed up I am running into an issue.

It is skipping the latest trace file in use in one of our folders and therefore skips the file.

Is there a way to specify to Backup Exec that we'd like for the backup to backup and archive all except for the most recent file which is in use?

I appreciate your help in advance.

Apparently this is impossible to do within Backup Exec itself.
