Hiya, is it possible to retreive commision junction ad urls on their own not the whole copy and paste code?

I've been entering data from commision junction 1 piece at a time for each ad. I copy and paste the ad location and the link url seperatly and I don't use commision junctions actual pre made code. Is there a way that already exists to retrieve the urls on their own?

The process of getting ads into my database is a long one and I'm going to need hundreds of them. Any solutions will make this project move much faster. I need to enter ads with criteria to help people search on them etc 1 ad requires over 10 seperate parts of data.

I've considered script that strips their premade copy & paste code of all HTML just leaving link. That will SHORTEN the process so does this maybe already exist or what approach should I take to writing the script that does this?

To help make this clear I'll explain my use of my data. I display ads on a new website www.ad-hit.com which is only in its early stages. Each ad url is the same apart from an ID which is past to my own script for process and THEN I set the page header to the advertisers url.

You can't do it automatically but if you contact CJ after logging into your account with your request, I'm sure then can provide this to you in spreadsheet format.

Ye I didnt think it was possible, Google Affiliate Network allows it sort of but with less data in the feed. Hence the idea but why I need it with Commision Junction.

Ask CJ and it turns out their previously charged data feed service is now free to the UK another reason I came straight here. Their answer...

Thank you for contacting us. I've have received your request to enable product data functionality for your Commission Junction account. Data feed subscription is free of charge for UK publishers now.

Please review the Scheduled Data Transfer Guide - Product Data Feed for Publishers at http://www.cj.com/downloads/tech/scheduled_pub_transdata.pdf.

In addition, please answer, as best you can, the questions listed below:

1. What format would you like to use to receive your data? Choose from one of the following formats:
a. TAB
b. CSV
d. XML

2. Which method of transfer would you like to use to receive your product data? Choose from one of the following:
a. CJ FTP (you access to our FTP servers)
b. Client FTP (we access to your FTP servers to push the file(s)) with any log-in and password information needed for access
c. HTTP (you access our HTTP Web servers)

3. How often would you like to receive it - daily, weekly or monthly?

4. Which five advertisers would you consider are your strongest revenue generators?

5. For which website is should be set up? (only one of your websites if you registred more)

You are able to see which CJ advertisers offer the product catalog by the following path:

On the following page, select Product Catalog in the Link Type drop down menu. On the Relationship Status drop down menu, select My Advertisers and then click Find.

You will then see a list of your advertisers that offer a product catalog.

Once we receive your answers to the questions above, we will enable your account to receive product data and send you technical documentation that will assist your technical team in integrating this functionality.
In order to respond to the questions above, log into the CJ Account Manager", click on the Contact Us link, wait for the pop-up to display and then click on the Go button next to the Check Question Status link. You can then select your incident by clicking the Update button and inputting your response. Your request will be processed within two business days.

Alternatively you can use our Webservices - it is a programmatic interface into our Product Catalog. It allows you to query and display product data in real time from our database of over 10 million products. Web Services allows you to write code to access our database and find out in real time current offering and prices of products.

I hope it helps. If you require further assistance do not hesitate to contact us again.
