How do i upload a cake php project to a remote host

I have developed an application with the cakephp framework but i have problems uploading it to my server. I am used to config files etc. What is the proper procedure for this task?

it is suggested that i upload the folder from he locahlost direactly to the remote server and things should work. i get the white screen of death instead.

Hi there,

Probably can't find your core anymore, or you htaccess is naffed.

Make sure you have uploaded everything, set your debug in your core to 2

Step through your index.php file with
die('here');

to see where it's dying.

Make sure your database details are correct, and clear your /tmp/cache/* folders
