Replace a Dell laptop LCD

The entire LCD/Display to my laptop was smashed, obviously stopped working and is now gone (recycled). So now we're left with just the laptop, and no display or anything connected to the hinges.

Is there a way to get an entire LCD/Display replacement for this laptop without going through Dell? They quoted it at about $475, which is over half the cost of a new Latitude D410 interestingly enough.

I see a lot of sites offering screens about about $140 - $250, but are these just the screens to the LCD, or are they supposed to be the entire LCD unit?

Need advise badly!

Plug in an external monitor and run it as a desktop, otherwise Punky has the answer.

Awesome, thank you!
I checked ebay before (via Google products) but I wasn't including the keyword "Complete" so I wasn't sure exactly what parts were coming up.

Just ordered a complete one on there from a reputable seller for only $90.00.
