Importing Oracle 8i schema into sql server 2000

hi experts!

I have ORACLE 8Ii database and  Newly installed MSSQL SERVER 2000 my task is export oracle schema and import into mssql server 2000 with all constrain ?  I don't have any idea abt mssql server?

1) i what to create new database in mssql server 2000?
AND
2) i what to import oracle schema in to mssql server 2000?

Pls give me steps to create Database into mssql server 2000 and give me steps
to import oracle schema in to mssql server 2000?

you can use SSMA for oracle from Microsoft to migrate the database.
to download and other info http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2005/en/us/migration-oracle.aspx

Hi udayakumar.

Can u give me steps ,

1) In what format i what to export ( the schema) in oracle? or any other way is there?
2) after exporting ? how can i import the schema into mssql server 2000?

pls if u have any doc pls share with me..

you can use the migartion tool that i specified in the earlier comment.

I never tried manual migration if you are looking for it.
