Is there a program I can interpret a MySQL Slow Query Log with?
Hi, As above.
Is there a program available to read a MySQL Slow Query Log?
I know our site was slow last night but I want to see if this log tells me something...more connections than usual etc. etc.

Ideal.
I have actually read the query file enough now to understand exactly what the issues are.
Any other comments on this for an actual program to help rather than 'just better coding'?

Well, you can also do some performance test at the operating system layer, but this is operating system specific.

gplana,
hi, my question is asking for a program to interpret and analyse a MySQL Slow Query log, not to make the SQL server better. I know what I need to do, I just want to be able to read the log faster and a program would do that for me.

are there any more answers to give. Thanks for your message gplana, I was hoping for something open source really but your post definitely gets a mention :)

Not quite what I was after but is a *very* nice tool for displaying performance of SQL.
It's strange that with all my searching I was never able to find a standalone program to analyze a slow query log and tell me which queries need looking at.
