Windows Mobile does not sync anymore

Our certificicate on our Exchange 2007 server ran out and we re-newed the certificate a few days after the expiration.
All other clients are able to access the newly secured server accept for the Windows Mobile devices.   I reset one of the devices and still get the error message that the server is not secure.   How can I get these devices back synchronizing with the server?

Have you run the "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync Test" at the following MS web site:  https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/

Also I would run the following powershell command:

get-ExchangeCertificate | list

look for the certificate that has already expired and make sure it doesn't have "IIS" specified as an enabled service.  Also make sure that the renewed certificate IS enabled for IIS.
