time out issue when connecting using owa

We have a single user that uses owa to connect to his e-mail remotely. We have a single windows 2003 sbs, and this seems to work fine. Apart from the fact that when he leaves it connected, say in the middle of creating and e-mail, the session times out, and he loses the work he had done. Is there any way we can extend the time out?
He connects using https://owamail.domainname.co.uk/exchange, and we notice a coment on the login screen as follows :-
"To protect your account from unauthorized access, Outlook Web Access automatically closes its connection to your mailbox after a period of inactivity. If your session ends, refresh your browser, and then log on again."
I undertsnad the reason for this, but it is causing this user problems.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry for the delay, been away for a couple of weeks. I have marked this as resolved, as the information was complete for the problem I outlined, so thanks for your assistance. It at least proved it was not related to the time out issue, as we found on further investigation, that it was in fact Internet Explorer that was crashing, so I will open up another incident regarding this.
