Hi,
I have been trying to find Backup Exec client agents for release 12.0, especially the one for Macintosh but I can´t find them anywhere.

Do we have anyone here who is familiar with the product and knows where to find older clients?

Regards
Rickard

You can download the Remote Agent for Mac System (RAMS) from fileconnect.symantec.com
you will need a Serial number associated with your product to access the site
for installing refer to the attached Adminsitrator's guide

to install mac agent follow below website  http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/271591.htm

Thanks for your answer, I have my license keys but I where do I find my Serial number?
My instinct tells me to look under help -> About Symantec Backup Exec, but obviously Symantec didn´t think that it was a good idea to have it there.

for old versions of backup exec (dont remeber which one ) Here is the location to find serial number for backup exec C:\Windows\Besernum.xml

Not all software stores it's serial numbers in the registry. It could be inside encrypted files in the program folder and unless someone has reverse engineered the software, they may never be found. Have you tried contacting Symantec for support, i hope their license team will help you get the serial number.
