Question about Banner Printing

I have an HP Photosmart C5180 All-In-One printer. I am trying to take a letter size picture of a bunny rabbit and banner print it to a 4 foot by 4 foot size so I can trace it out for signage.  Does the printer convert the smaller image to a banner, or does the image have to be the actual size to print out correctly? Thanks in advance,

Michael, my printer doesn't allow me to change to banner settings, I checked with the HP tech. Also, when I tried to download posterazor, Norton stopped me because it had a virus/worm.

Sometimes Antivirus scanner reports that a program is infected with a Virus or Trojan, even when the program is not really infected with any malicious code. This kind of problem is known as "False Positive" or "False Alert", and it's quite a common problem.
That why, allow it to install.
