Hi,

Please assist with this problem, i have searched the forums, and cannot find a solution.

I have tried to install an win sbs 2003 on an  ML150 HP server, and after it loads the windows files, and restarts, it gives an error of "Error loading operating System" .

Some sites are suggesting its the bios conflicting with the operating system, but i cant see why this wouldn't be a well known error when installing winsbs2003 on an HP ML150, as the combinations seems to be a popular one, and i'm sure many othr before me have run into this prob, and hopefully solved it.

Thanks for any help.

I have found the solution, but it puzzles me why HP would allow this.

I had to upgrade the bios, as that bios was not compatable with winsbs2003. Surely there are many ppl that still prefer to use win2003sbs ? shouldn't HP build the server with the already updated bios that can at least accomodate for such a widely used OS.

and by the way, i had to install vista, then ugrade the bios, because its a windows application, not a dos app....thanks HP.

Cheers.
