I'm trying to setup a nat on an cisco asdm for asa and having a hard time. i went in security policy and NAT policy
and added the internal private computer and nat port but it will not work.  can someone point me in the right direction?

Are you setting up a static NAT, static PAT (single port), or dynamic NAT rule?

a single pat
i want to forward port 3340  to an internal ip

outside ip  port 3340  -->  10.0.30.100 3340

ip nat inside source static tcp 10.0.30.100 3340 interface <insert interface name> 3340

i can't telnet to the unit. it doesn't work i have to use the web interface.

The GUI has a way to send text commands.
