I have installed a new XP SP3 system. Configured physical printers (HP 2600n, HP Design jet 110 nr) without a single error. Problems started with the virtual printers. When i installed Adobe 9 Pro Extended, the application itself works i.e. you can view pdf documents and process them. But the Adobe PDF printer doesnt appear in printers and thus the PDF Maker cant create pdf documents. This program worked fine for me in XP SP2 and Vista both 32 and 64 bit, so i thought there is aproblem with SP 3.
So I tried a different program: BullZip PDF. During installation it asks for two files (Asks for the MS XP cdrom) : pscript.hlp, APLWCSB1.PPD. I found the first one on the internet from a russian ftp server, but the second one i couldnt find anywhere, including all windows CDs i have (media center, XP Pro SP2, SP3 and Vista 32 and 64 Ultimate). Thus i pushed cancel on the file requests, and the program installed, but once again without the pdf printer.
Already tried reinstalling both programs. As said above, they work perfectly on other Oss.
Any help highly appreciated.
