Yes exporting to PDF is supported in SSRS 2005.

From within Business Intelligence designer, from either the Preview tab, or if you have right-clicked on the .rdl and chosen Run, you can right click and then choose Export - you will see the export options which include PDF.

If you have deployed your report, and run it from Internet Explorer, you should also see an Export option at the top of the viewer where you can choose the export format from a drop down.

Finally if you set up a subscription on a report, you can specify the format it will be exported in - again PDF should be available.
