What is the correct activation procedure for windows 7

Hi experts,

i have downloaded and installed a legal copy of Windows 7 beta from MS 2 days ago.  I ticked where it asked if I wanted to automatically activate Windows when I got an Internet connection.  Well it is not activated and I am being counted down from 3 days with one day left.

here is the situation.  It says "YOU HAVE ONE DAY UNTIL ACTIVATION'  I assume that it will be automatic activation tomorrow, like it asked me.  However, my QUESTION IS:  Do I have another option besides this automatic one, and what is going to happen after  it is activated?  I am fiarly new to Vista and REALLY new to Win 7.  AND I certainly am no expert with any Windows product.

Thank you in advance

Thank you,
"That" Page did the trick for me , altho it is still complicated to  grasp completelely.  This has to be one  day at a time because we are going to stuck with this OS, like it or not. So far it appeers to be better in many ways than Vista.

thanks again
