Outlook 2003 Email Achive Prompt Out Of System Memory Error

Whenever, try to archive the email folder in Outlook 2k3 it will prompt out of system memory error and fail. Laptop is equipped with 3GB of memory and virtual memory set from 1.5GB to 3.0GB. Therefore, unlikely to have out of system memory issue. The archive PST file is within the safety limit not exceeding 1GB. I had checked outlook using about 46MB. Any person encounter this issue before to help out. Thanks.

Hi,

I would presume that you have already tried to do a couple of repairs and also complete uninstall, deleting the temp files and re-installing. If this did not solve your issue, I suppose it would be an add-ins issue.

First make sure that there is no Add-ins inside outlook by doing the following:
1. Tool/Options/Other Tab   (and clicking on Add-in Manager )

If there is no Add-ins there, try doing the following:
1. Do an exact search in you registry for:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Extensions]
2. Ok then backup your registry  and close Outlook if it is still running.
3. Now Delete EVERYTING inside that key and restart outlook.

Your issue should now be resolved. Please let me know if it worked for you?
