Hi,

I'm a novice user and I was wondering can anyone tell me if there is any easy way to edit logos.  I need to actually take a piece of a logo out of the forefront of a pdf and then create the background underneath.  I know I'm not doing a good job on explaining this.  I'll include the attachment.  Basically I need to take the "vending" part out.  I spent all night doing this freehand.  It didn't look too bad but when I emailed it, I got an unexpected end of file error trying to open it.  I'm sure there must be an easier way than having to do it all again freehand.

Any help would be much appreciated.

PhotoShop ist not the correct Software for this sort dokument.
Try it with Adobe Illustrator all objects in this pdf are vectors.

After opening it in illustrator you can access all objets and change everthink you want.
Save your changes  as pdf.
Now it could be print on evrey format you wish. it looks allways sharp because this are vectors, no Bitmaps

if you save it in Photoshop you create a Bitmap

Hi JONATHAN,  i can not verify what PEKABO says about opening this file in illustrator, because When i Try to open it with ilustrator, it says it can not open it....(Maybe because i am using CS3). But, if in fact the file is really in VECTORS, it will be much better to do it on ILLUSTRATOR.

Anyway, if i understood well your question, I tried to do what you wanted myself, I did it on PHOTOSHOP CS3, so I am attaching the file. If this is what you where looking for, please let me know and i will explain it detailed.

What i am not sure about is the ERROR you got.. perhaps you can explain a little more.

Let me know.
