exchange with recovery switch

hi all, i want to perform a disaster recovery with recovery switch for that i will follow the link
http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Recovering-Exchange-2007-Server-RecoverServer-switch.html but due to my exchange & DC hosted on the same server i am unable to find computer name say email in my computers section. i will find it in domain controller only from where i am unable to reset the account error :- the server email is a domain contrller you cannot reset the password on this object. if i tried to run setup.com m:recoverserver without resetting the computer account it only start as preparing exchange setup & then gives error exchange setup encounterd an error. can anybody suggest what to do.

configure a new DC/GC - transfer all the roles over to it

run dcpromote on the Exchange/DC to demote it back to member server

Recover Exchange

Then never run Exchange on the same hardware as your DC/GC if you can possibly help it
