How do i install GFI on exchange 2007.

I am trying to install GFI MailEssentials on a Windows Server 2008 with Exchange 2007 installed.
My problem is the installation wizard is not recognising the exchange install. Looking at the online guide (http://support.gfi.com/manuals/en/me14/me14manual.1.7.html), there a few stages meant to be skiped by the wizard, but we get them anyway. Also a post-installation wizard should apear, we do not get this and cannot find how to run it.
We have browsed the internet and have not found any solutions, or even anyone else with the same problem.

Thanks,
Martin

what version of server 2008 are you running? x86 or x64? and what role does the exchange server you are trying to install it on perform in your exchange system?

from http://www.gfi.com/mes/mes14gsgmanual.pdf

Supported operating systems
· Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x64
· Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x32 (Installations on gateway/perimeter server only)
· Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS) 2008 Standard

if you are installing on an 32-bit version of 2008, and the exchange server is not a gateway/perimeter server - then you are sool, as that configuration is unsupported
