SLQ2005 Rebuilding index failed

I have recently moved (detach-reattach) some database from 1 server to another sersers. These databases are huges and i need to put them on a dedicated SQL box. They are both 64 bits with x64 SQL enterprise. They have 32 GB of ram each...but now when i try to run the maintanance task (rebuild index) it fails everytime with a weird message "This index operation requires 4096 KB of memory per DOP. The total requirement of 32768 KB for DOP of 8 is greater than the sp_configure value of 26624 KB set for the advanced server configuration option "index create memory (KB)".  Increase this setting or reduce DOP and rerun the query.  The statement has been terminated.". Possible failure reasons: Problems with the query<c/> "ResultSet" property not set correctly<c/> parameters not set correctly<c/> or connection not established correctly. "
