When installing the service, it asks if it should install as DOMAIN\BESAdmin and I tell it yes. It then asks for the password and I provide the password I use when I log in as BESAdmin.
It also asks during the install if I want to use SQL authentication?
I tell it No.
Another question it asks is for the MAPI profile name to connect to the besadmin mailbox
 MAPI profile as BESAdmin.
The service installs just fine but when I try to start the service it returns error code -0.

Hi, as you are using the BES 4.1.2 you need to use "BlackBerry Enterprise Server Resource Kit v4.1.2".  I would recommend upgrading your BES to 4.1 SP6 (you have SP2) and then download and install "BlackBerry User Administration Tool v4.1.6 for Microsoft Exchange" (it is standalone installer from 4.1.3 onwards).

Hi guys dont worry, I figured it out. I dont know whether its a bug or it suppose to work like that.
I was using my MAPI profile name during the installation of admin  service but i provided the defalut name of MAPI profile during the installation of admin services and it works
Defalut MAPI name "BlackBerryServer"
I checked on the bb forum, some of the other folks were facing the same issue and they use the defalut name and it worked for them
Any way Thanx guys for the info....

Great to hear you got it sorted.  If you get a chance its worthwhile upgrading you BES to the latest Service pack as mentioned.  Apart from loads of new features (e.g. HTML email, remote Desktop Search) there are a large number of updates to the BES platform (including security).
