Suggestions for new printer for a Performa 575 running MacOS 7.1P6

I am looking for a replacement printer for a Performa 575 running MacOS 7.1P6 the HP LaserJet 4ml that it was connected to has broken, I have posted on Craigslist and searched eBay for a replacement with no luck thus far. The user has no need to upgrade (I know it is old) and does not want to spend a lot of money.

Can anyone suggest a printer that would work with little to no configuration with this machine other than finding another LaserJet 4ml?

I looked and found these
http://printers.bizrate.com/interface-type--serial/products__att36--963-.html
It's been a long time since I used the old round serial printer cables, I had mine hooked to an epson, I can't recall the model, but it was one of the last to have all 3 serial/parallel and usb.
An option may be using an adapter

Amazon do keyspan ones
It would open your choices up a bit
Although I notice that the round adapter is as much as some of the printers you can get (crazy)
I notice there's no PCI card support, so that's out of the question.

I'm a member of a mac group on myspace, I'll sound them out there and come back if I get any feedback.
