Even though that's a fix for 2000 couldn't you edit permission in the XP registry for these three files to give all users admin rights to them? &nbsp;Of course this will depend on your network structure and existing policies.

Thanks.. that fix was for vista, not for windows 2000. in my case , i have windows 2000 professional on the user's workstation. <br />
Edit permissions in the registry? how would i go about doing that? i gave them full access permissions on the security tab of the HP folder and still didnt work.<br />
