Have you tried adding the folder/file it running from to the antivirus exclude list? Should be located in the settings of the antivirus.

To install the keylogger and get folder excluded you might need to disable the antivirus first, create folder, copy keylogger into that folder, turn antivirus on and it should not show any problems with that file then.

Thanks SerjTech, for your reply.
but i could not find any option to add Exclusion list.
i deactivated Avira, run Klogger. but whenever i go to that folder to see the log, it gives warning which i have to ignore.
is there any better option, so that if once i ask Avira to ignore an application, it ignores forever.

Please reply.
thanks.

There should be an exclude option in settings. I have never used that antivirus so I'll investigate into it and will get back to you with more detailed instructions.

Ok the antivirus does have an exclude list. You will need to add the folder/file to the scan exclude list and also the guard exclude list.

More information can be found in the pdf help doc here:
http://www.free-av.com/documents/products/pdf/en/man_avira_antivir-personal_en.pdf

Only screenshot I could find of the exclude option was on following forum post:
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=232896

You will need to turn on expert mode to see these advance options and make sure you got the files in exclude list for both guard and scan mode.

Hope this helps.
