SNDDST Command in AS400

Dear All,
I am facing a problem in SNDDST Command for mailing a text file
I have saved the text file in a flolder
The width of the text file is 414 Width
When i run the SNDDST command it says the command completed successfully
but if I refer the same in attached mail it is in some ascii code format
can any one guide me in this regard to solve the problem

Hi Bsidmis,

Copying the file to a folder will automatically convert the EBCDIC to ASCII format. unless the folder was created as an EBCDIC folder.
