Accessing a folder with VPN

We have a couple of users in our company who wish to access a folder on the network using our Cisco VPN client v. 5.0. They can access other folders in the network but can't access their user folder. I have enterprise admin rights and am unable to do so either. Is there a setting or configuration change to allow this? We encourage users to save to the network and permissions allow them to keep sensitive information in their user folder which is only available to executives and IT. I don't want to allow everyone to access their user folders though. Thank you in advance.
