I have two domain controllers running windows 2000 advanced server in two different forests.
two firewalls have been placed before each domain controller .
I have  to create two way trust relationship between these two forests.
what are ports that are to be opened in the firewall in order that the trust relationship can be created and there would be proper communication between these two domain controllers.

yes, if you need dns resolution/zone transfers through the firewall you will need 53(tcp & udp)
also, if you need wins, 42(tcp & udp)
