How to set IP address in RHEL4?

I need to set the static IP to the RHEL4 box, Can someone tell me how to set so that I would be pavement across the boot. I have
IP address, netmask and default gateway handy, Which file do I need to put all these entry to make it permanent, or do we have any command line option which would make this change? Thank you!
