Is there any way to remove Comma's from fields in crystal reports?

The database I use combines Last name and first name together and separates it by a comma. Is there a way when pulling the data into a report using Crystal XI to remove this comma without having to manually edit the file. The reason i'm asking is because once I create this report I have to export it to a .csv file. Any rogue comma's or comma's in the name field really mess with importing them into another database.

Create a formula with the following syntax:

Replace({table.field},",","")

This searches the field for commas and replaces them with an empty value.
