HTML email being converted to Plain Text

I have a user who's emails get converted to plain text upon delivery.
I think it's happening at the server level as OWA access displays the sent HTML email as Plain text as well.
This doesn't happen to all mail, but it does to most.

OWA is direct server access therefore it bypasses the Outlook client, so it's not a client side configuration issue.

Any Ideas?

Hi,
Please ask the user to send himself a mail in HTML format to see if he received it in correct format. It would answer your question
Thanks

Hi,
It means the problem is not at the user's end. Can you try to send a mail from another user in HTML format and seee if it comes in HTML or not. Iwould say it would
Also, can you please confirm the issue once more, is he sending internally or externally. Or is he receiving

I just sent him an internal html email and he received it fine in HTML.
I also sent him an external html email from my hotmail account and he received it in plain text.

Thanks

Control application downtime with dependency maps

Visualize the interdependencies between application components better with Applications Manager's automated application discovery and dependency mapping feature. Resolve performance issues faster by quickly isolating problematic components.

Just the one user. Everyone else including myself is fine.

Also, he can send me an HTML email from within his outlook to my hotmail account. I`ll receive it as HTML, but if I reply, he gets the reply as Plain Text...

Try this:
With the message open, on the Edit menu, click Edit Message.
On the Format menu, click the format you want to use (Plain Text, HTML, or Rich Text).

Note  If Word is not your e-mail editor, you can convert HTML or RTF to plain text, and you can convert plain text to RTF or HTML. However, you cannot convert HTML to RTF or RTF to HTML.

Turn out it was AVG's built in email scanner that was turning the messages into Plain txt. It actually changed the message on the exchange server itself.
