Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server 4.0 and two NICs

Is it possible two have two network interfaces cards enabled on a Citrix server?
I tried it, client started to freeze up now and then.
We have a cluster of two servers.
Frontend is
Backend is  but disabled.

Yes. If disabled Citrix should not even see the other nic card, if enabled go into the ica-tcp listener (tscc.msc) and set it to listen on the one NIC card you want Citrix to listen on (Reboot) and it should be ok.
