Receiving Outlook/Exchange Email on Android G1 phone?

Our company uses an Exchange server and Outlook to handle company emails. Is there a way to configure an employee's G1 Android phone to receive emails from an Exchange server? I have searched for over an hour but have had literally zero results on how to receive email, only results for syncing contacts and calendars.

I've done this a lot on Blackberries but I can't find out how to set this up on the Android.

Thanks!

Thanks mikainz, I will keep those in mind. Are there any free alternatives? I'm not the head of our IT department so I am not in a position to purchase things for the company. Is receiving Outlook emails on the Android really something that can't easily be done for free? This baffles me, especially considering the phone is from Google.

Receiving emails maybe can be done by forwarding your emails from outlook to your gmail account,
but that's no synchronization..
And keep in mind, that Exchange and Outlook are from Microsoft not from Google *gg*

Thanks for your advice, I now know to tell our employees not to get G1s if they want to use Outlook.
