Firefox and Quicktime on XP x64

Does anyone know a replacement for Quicktime  player on Firefox?

For some reason When a website has embeded a media file (like mp3) quicktime on Firefox tries to play it, but it doesn't show the control for the file (play, stop, etc) I tried installing the windows media player plugin and disable the quicktime plugin, but it doesn't show anything when I do that.

Try Video Lan Client at http://www.videolan.org/

It manages every codec I have come across.

Nope, I installed it and set it up to install the plugins for both IE and Mozilla, also all the different file types and when I visit a page that has audio files embedded it doesn't load the plugin, I checked the add ons installed and I don't see it in the list.

Thanks for trying though.
