Exch 2007 CCR Log File Issue

I have a recently build CCR cluster with no mailboxes yet migrated (it does hold a public folder replica note this is very small though). The cluster hosts 28 storage groups including one for the public folder database, each SG has one database.

I have noticed log files being generated on the primary node at an alarming rate 12000 in less than 24hrs!!! I have no idea how/why they are being generated as there are no user mailboxes on the CMS and only a 200MB pubic folder store.

Can anyone help?

Restart the server and see if they are still generating at such an impressive rate.

If not, it could have just been something "stuck" (you can to some degree open the logs to see what is giong on, though I would advise you copy them (NOT MOVE) somewhere different first before doing so incase you accidentally edit them.
