Is the external address a blackberry address? The only information I can find on that error, is pertaining to blackberrys and MessageLab Mail scanning.

It very well may be a blackberry... its going to an ATT.NET email address.
Perhaps her accepted/declined the meeting on the Blackberry and it sent it back in another format?

I couldn't say for sure, but problems I have been able to find involve blackberry and the version 4.2. Apparently the 4.5 version resolved the issue. From what I have been able to tell.
