Different Ring Tones on Polycom IP650

We have Polycom IP650s tied to a switchvox PBX(asterix based machine). Each IP650 has 3 line appearances registered to different extensions.

For example Phone 1 has extensions 101, 201, and 301 registered as line appearances on the device. Is it possible to give each line a different ringer. If so, how is this configured?

To my knowledge, you can't give each line a distinct ringer natively with the phone or asterisk, but you can give different contacts a different ringer on the phone's settings.

I suppose you could "trick" the phone, and create custome dialplan extensions for the phone,...but it would stop the reception of callerid on the phone, and the phone's displayed extension's wouldn't be the extension's that would be dialed to reach the phone.

Example...you setup a contact in the phone with a distinct ringer...  the contact is 1234...then you create a custom extension in asterisk... 4321, the phone is attached to this extension.  The dialplan code for incoming calls to 4321 overwrites all incoming callerid to 1234.
