Hello,

you just need to add folowing string to the link pointing to your form:
?source=<full address of the thankyou page>

(for ex. http://ww.domain.com/list/survey/addtem.aspx?source=http://www.domain.com/pages/thankyou.aspx

If you want to make sure, that the page will allways redirect to the thank you, you can add javascript that will make sure that you have redirection string in your URL (see the snippet). It works this way - checks if you have the source defined in your url and if not it redirects to the same page, adding the source part to the url. You have to modify the code to match your additem and thankyou pages
<script>
url=window.location+"";
if (url.indexOf("?source=")<0)
{
	window.location=url.split("?")[0]+"?source="+url.split("additem.aspx")[0]+"thank_you.aspx"

}
</script>
