I have an Issue with My Voicemaill pro services specifically VMProDB Service, and Voicemail Pro Service Causing my 3640 router processor to hit 100% and stay there. As soon as i shut down these services on the Voicemail pro Server the router goes back to a normal 10 percent usage. The issue does Not happen all the time (about 2 to 3 times a month) and i cannot do anything to cause the issue that i know of.

I have tried Upgrading the Voicemail pro server to the latest 4.2 i believe. also making sure that the windows server has been updated as well. I also read about a lock up of these services and tried to move the Voicemail pro server onto the second Lan port on the IP office switch and that did not work either it happened a few days later.

Has anyone seen or heard of this issue? If you have could you please share the resolution that could help me please.

I have not had that specific problem, but I can make a couple of recomendations.
1.  Make sure you have VMPro 4.2.27 as there are tons of issues with with 4.2.14
2.  If you are using Voicemail to Email, make sure you have static routes built to Exchange (or whatever email server you are using) in your gateway
3.  Get a copy of DbgView from Avaya or a Business Partner so you can see what VMPro is doing when your peaks happen
4.  If you are using an IP400 connect the VMPro server directly to the LAN switch in proc, if using an IP500 wither config the WAN port as a LAN port and connect directly or put a small switch in with the IP Office and VMPro and your network connected to it
5.  On some older 406v2 units I have had to set the NIC on the VMPro server to 10mbits/half duplex.  I dont remeber why, it's been awhile since I installed any 406's, but I do remember specifically that it resolved some VMPro issues
If none of this helps, post yor IP Office hardware list and some specifics about your network and I'll see what I can come up with.

I am trying the upgrade to 4.2.27 now i am hopeful that this is the solution. i am not sure to mark this as the right answer. since it does not happen often. let me know what you think.

I would mark the answer right only when your problem is solved or when you define that the issue is unresolvable due to some other circumstance.
I normally dont answer questions much, just ask a bunch, so dont worry about being quick to accept an answer on my account :).
