This is using 2 Cisco 3550 24port switches. Switch 01 is used to connect all the DMZ Segment equipments, server, routers. There are currently 4 port (p1 to p4) are in used. Switch 02 is used in Internal network, for all the workstations, printers, etc.
The objective is to allocate 16 Ports from switch 01, to be used for Internal network. If I were no wrong, no vlan membership in place. Shall I assign a vlan number, such as vlan 2 for p1-p4 of switch 02, and connect one port of switch 01 to one port of switch 02, so as the remaining 16 ports, of switch 2 if "no shutdown", will able to communicate with all ports of switch 01?
Or any suggestion is welcome!
