Does IBM x3250 support RAID 10?

This is using IBM x3250, with 4xHDD 2.5". I am thinking of configure 2 pairs of HDD, both in RAID 0, and then mirroring both pairs. Can it be done?

Hey,

That particular hardware doesn't support RAID 10 arrays: http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/x/hardware/rack/x3250m2/specs.html.

You'd need to create either a RAID 0, RAID 1 or RAID 5 array using the hardware you have. Don't use RAID 0 if you are looking for redundancy.

"Too brief to answer"? I'm not too sure why you're deleting the question for that reason, when I gave you a valid answer in http:#a24105718.
