Not really... A locked console always shows the background image. &nbsp;Honestly, I wouldn't use BGInfo on a server, mostly for the exact reason you posted this question, but also because I don't like extra processes running on my servers, even if they are once per login and short.<br />

Sadly we do need to run bginfo as it's usefulness far outweighs the disadvantages of an additonal process running.

I need to find a way of hiding the information that is displayed on the desktop for bginfo when the screen locks.<br />

The information from bginfo is helpful but it is obviously a security risk if someone can see the servers information (ip address, server name etc.) on the screen when it is locked.<br />

Does anyone know how this can be hidden?
