Faxing a HTML Page

I require a method to submit a HTML page to our fax server software Zetafax.
One discounted option is their Document Conversion add-on as we'd have to upgrade our whole suite costing £1000's.

Using VB6 I would like to be able to do one of two thing...
either (A) Convert a HTML page/string into a TIFF file with a G3N or G3F extension, then use their API to send it
or (B) In code automatically send a HTML page to a printer driver entitled "Zetafax Printer"

If you are not tied to the Zetafax option, you could use the faxsever api available on most windows operating system. There are a lot solutions available on here.

If you have to use Zetafaxz and I am guessing a little bit here as I have not used it, you could try automating the file and print option from within word. My guess is, however, that Zetafax have ensured you cannot use this option as the settings cannot be entered programatically.

They have to save these settings somewhere so it might be worth your while googling Zetafax and regedit to find out where they save these settings.

Thanks alot Tony

- I'll research the fax server api. Do you know its name off hand?
- I'll see if I can programmtically create a HTML file that saves as a Word document
- I've been googling Zetafax a bit, but as yet no luck,  99% suggest the Document Conversion add-on

Again much appreciate your help. Cheers Rob
