javascript not working on vista

Hello,
Does anyone know why javascript is not working on a Vista Home Edition machine?  The issue is on both IE and Firefox.  We have verified that the enable JavaScript checkboxes are checked.  I have tried doing searchs on this issue on multiple sites, including this one, but cannot seem to find and posts addressing this.

HELP!!!

Thanks!!

I was hoping that someone else would submit a solution as the one submitted did not work.  I guess at this point we can close with  'no acceptable resolution found' response.

MrMintanet,
The download you pointed to is for Java.  The issue we are having is with JavaScript.  I believe they are different.
Thanks
