I have a winzip command that i need to run through cfexecute, no problem, but the winzip may or may not ask if you want to check for an update, is there a command line switch that will tell winzip, ignore looking for update just do the job asked?

TIA

You can't run this as a command line switch after WinZip is installed but you can at the installation stage
See: http://www.winzip.com/xsiteins.htm#silent

To prevent WinZip prompting the user for updates you'll need to push a registry fix to remove the two entries outlined here:

thanks but this will be running on a production system so no registry editing will be allowed and with that requirement portability will be an issue.
