Problems Installing Visual Studio Help Integration Kit 2.1

I am using Visual Studio .NET 2008 and Crystal Reports 2008.  My goal is to integrate the Crystal Developer Help into the Visual Studio .NET 2008 Help Collection.

To do this, I need to install the Visual Studio Help Integration Kit (current version 2.1), aka VSHIK.  I am unable to install it.

Upon launching the installer I receive the message "Visual Studo .NET must be installed to run this instalation package."

I subsequently click the "OK" button (not that I'm really OK with it :)).

I am then taken to a page that display the message "The installer was interrupted before Microsoft® Visual Studio® .NET Help Integration Kit could be installed.  You need to restart the installer to try again.  Click 'Close' to exit."

I am sort of stuck at this point as I am quite certain that Visual Studio 2008 is installed becase I am using it!  No further information is provided.

I enabled logging on the installer.  The install log is attached.

Thank you!

VSHIK is no longer used in Visual Studio 2008, and Visual Studio 2005, I believe.  Help Integration is now performed throuh HelpStudio Lite.

(Nexxt time I'll read the requirements a bit more carefully).
