What do you mean by "flash card"?
- USB stick
- EEPROM programmer
- Remote cable to digital camera to blink flash

Post error messages from "dmesg" - impossible to sort out without them.
Update your CentOS and post output of uname -a afterwards.

YOUR USB IS WORKING PERFECTLY, NO NEED TO FIX.
SELinux denies mounting usb storage, this has nothing to do with three working hub devices you are describing.

permitted due to permissive mode.]

SELinux denied access requested by nm-system-setti. It is not expected that this
access is required by nm-system-setti and this access may signal an intrusion
attempt. It is also possible that the specific version or configuration of the
application is causing it to require additional access.

Allowing Access:

You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ
(http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Or you can disable
SELinux protection altogether. Disabling SELinux protection is not recommended.
Please file a bug report (http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi)
against this package.

Summary:

SELinux is preventing nm-system-setti (system_dbusd_t) "sys_nice" to <Unknown>

This could be true as well:
hub 3-0:1.0: Cannot enable port 3.  Maybe the USB cable is bad?
Try other port just in case...

You say it is a laptop. It may not supply enough power for USB.
Try mouse alone - any errors when connecting it?

I never install systems with SELinux for sole purpose that it does not work.

Have fun. Ubuntu or Mint or Mandriva really cause less confusion.
