Larger icons on welcome screen?

Is it possible to make the icons larger on the welcome screen in Windows Vista. Our monitor is big, the icons are little. It's all good on the desktops, so I don't want to change them, just the welcome screen.

I have found that adding a password to your account dramatically increases the size of the logon picture. Other than that I haven't found any other way to do it.
